2023 Scholarship Applications Now Open!

You could receive a $1500 scholarship from First Financial Credit Union!

At First Financial Credit Union, our goal is to give back to our community through many sponsorship and educational programs. The credit union philosophy is “People Helping People,” which has been the guiding principle of the credit union movement. First Financial Credit Union will award six scholarships to graduating seniors, six scholarships to students currently in college that have not received the scholarship in the past. All qualifying past recipients that reapply.

Submit your application, and you could receive $750 per semester to reach for the moon! Submit your completed application before midnight Monday, April 17th, 2023.

FFCU will award six scholarships to provide financial assistance in 2023 for graduating High School Seniors.

High School Senior App

FFCU will award six scholarships to provide financial assistance in 2023 for current college students who have not previously received an FFCU scholarship.

Currently in College App

FFCU will award additional scholarships to continue providing financial assistance to past First Financial scholarships recipients who are in school full-time and have maintained a 2.0 GPA.

Past Recipient App

Requirements are as follows:

  • Must be a graduating senior in good standing, planning to attend a two or four-year, accredited New Mexico college or university, or currently enrolled at a New Mexico institution of higher learning.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 hours and must have at least a 2.0 - grade point average.
  • Parent/guardian or student must be a member of First Financial Credit Union. Immediate family members of volunteers and staff are not eligible. 
  • Completed application must be submitted by midnight Monday, April 17th, 2023.
