2021 Scholarships Application Deadline Extended!
Deadline Extended! Receive a $1500 scholarship from First Financial Credit Union.
At First Financial Credit Union, our goal is to give back to our community through a wide variety of sponsorship and education programs. Our philosophy is “People Helping People”, which has been the guiding principle for credit unions since the beginning of the credit union movement. First Financial Credit Union is awarding six scholarships to graduating high school seniors and three scholarships to current college students that have not previously received an FFCU scholarship. Scholarships to past recipients will also be awarded.

Six scholarships will be awarded to provide financial assistance to 2021 graduating High School Seniors.
Three scholarships will be awarded to provide financial assistance to 2021 student currently in college, who have not previously received an FFCU scholarship.
Additional scholarships will be awarded to continue providing financial assistance to past First Financial scholarships recipients who are in school full-time and have maintained a 2.0 GPA.
Requirements For High School Seniors:
- Must be a graduating senior with at least a 2.0 GPA, planning to attend a two or four-year, accredited New Mexico college or university, or currently enrolled at a New Mexico institution of higher learning.
- Parent/guardian or student must be a member of First Financial Credit Union. Immediate family members of volunteers and staff are not eligible.
Requirements For Current College Students And Past Recipients:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 hours and must have at least a 2.0 GPA.
- Parent/guardian or student must be a member of First Financials Credit Union. Immediate family members of volunteers and staff are not eligible.
