Volunteer Recognition!

Junior Achievement of NM is recognizing First Financial Certified Financial Counselor, Jonathan S. for his volunteer efforts and the difference he is making in New Mexico schools. We are honored to have you as part of the FFCU team Jonathan and THANK YOU for your commitment to our New Mexico community!

Excerpt Junior Achievement of NM

Thank you Jonathan Sorsabal, for being a phenomenal volunteer and for introducing First Financial Credit Union to JA of New Mexico!

Jonathan Sorsabal, Financial Development Educator at First Financial Credit Union was a first-time volunteer this spring semester at Independence High School. This spring, he invited
JA of New Mexico to give a brief presentation to First Financial employees on the work we do and our volunteer opportunities.

From this presentation, 5 new volunteers were engaged and worked with classrooms this semester. Additionally, Jonathan continues to work with several classrooms across Central New Mexico and is consistently acting as a JA Champion.

Jonathan, thank you so much for passionately spreading the JA word! Because of your advocacy, recruitment efforts, and willingness to go above and beyond for these classrooms, you have helped bring our programs to over 150 students.

Thank You!
