First Financial Credit Union has received reports of an individual calling our membership base and impersonating the First Financial Credit Union loan department. The scammer tells our members they are pre-approved for a loan and asks for personal identifying information like a social security number, date of birth, home address, and First Financial Credit Union account information. This scammer is calling from the MagicJack phone number 619-663-1722.
Please note that First Financial Credit Union will never solicit personal or private information via e-mail, out bound phone calls, or text messaging. If you receive any phone call, e-mail, or text message asking for your personal information please do not give out this information and contact our Member Resource Center immediately. Any outbound calls by our loan staff will be from a local New Mexico First Financial Credit Union phone number. First Financial Credit Union will never contact a member from an out of state number.
