Standard Checking is our free account with no monthly service fee and no minimum balance requirement.  While it does not pay dividends, it does include the following features:

• Unlimited transactions.
• Access to thousands of ATMs with your ATM/Check card.  Your transactions are free at more than 25,000 CU ANYTIME and Co-op ATM machines.  Plus, your card works wherever MasterCard is accepted for quick and easy payment.
• Overdraft protection available.  Funds are automatically transferred from your savings/line-of-credit loan to pay your checks.  Up to six unsigned/electronic transfers from your savings are permitted each month ($4.00 fee per occurrence, waived with Premier Checking).*
• Free online banking and online bill pay.  Access your account information, transfer funds, pay your bills online without writing a check, and more!  It's all available through First Link online banking 24/7, and it's free!
• Telephone access to your account 24/7 through First Line automated phone service.
• Duplicate checks.  You create a carbonless copy of each check you write. We keep your canceled checks, with copies available when needed.

*Overdrafts from savings account(s) are processed only on available funds that are over and above the minimum balance ($25 in your primary savings account). Federal regulations limit overdraft/automatic transfers from your savings account(s) to six per month (this includes overdraft transfers and transfers made via First Line and First Link). A $4.00 fee per occurrence is charged for overdrafts.
